Investment Approach
QBV’s investments are made from seed to mezzanine stages, with a focus on pharmaceutical products to treat known diseases that fulfil unmet market needs, as well as emerging products that can remove significant bottlenecks in the drug discovery pipeline.
There are three key stages to QBV’s investments:
- Comprehensive due diligence prior to investment.
- An active management approach – preferably with a board seat – once the investment is in place.
- The ability to follow on fund – to continue to maintain shareholding proportion in successive capital raising rounds.
